The Integral Musician product family
Find your next way into music.
Want to play a song? Want to understand why it works? We are building focused AI tools for both. Start with Bass Coach or Song Genome, and follow the instrument coaches coming next.
Working prototypes: Bass Coach and Song Genome. More instrument coaches are planned.
What are you here to do?
Working prototype | Beta invitations
Bass Coach: Learn the lines you love to hear.
You do not have to master the entire bass part before you can enjoy playing a song. Bass Coach starts with a recognizable section, helps you find a simpler version, and guides you phrase by phrase toward playing along.
The experience is built for adult learners who want a patient coach and a practical goal. See notes and frets, control the pace, loop a phrase, ask what comes next, and work toward a verse-and-chorus play-along when the available audio allows it.
- Easy first. Start with the bass notes that establish the musical shape, then build toward a fuller arrangement.
- Short loops. Repeat the few beats that need attention without restarting the entire track.
- Clear guidance. Follow a visual fretboard and simple coaching prompts as you practice.
- A real musical milestone. Work toward playing a recognizable verse and chorus, then choose what to learn next.
- Return and continue. Pick up where your last session ended instead of rebuilding the lesson each time.
Bass Coach is a working prototype being prepared for a wider pilot. Availability of song audio and individual features may vary during testing.
Working beta | Song intelligence
Song Genome: Hear what makes a song work.
A key signature and tempo are useful. The interesting questions often start after that: where does the song change direction, what creates the lift into the chorus, and which choices make this recording sound like itself?
Song Genome studies a recording through musical measurements, derived patterns, and interpretive explanations. It is designed to let you follow the evidence, see uncertainty where it exists, ask questions, and challenge an answer when your ear tells you something different.
- The Song. Explore the track’s musical identity and basic structure.
- The Movement. Follow sections, harmony, and changes in energy through time.
- The Reasoning. Explore explanations of musical mechanisms and the observations behind them.
- The Signature. Focus on a few details that seem to make the song distinctive.
- The Possibilities. Turn understanding into a question, experiment, or idea for what to try next.
Song Genome is in beta. Analyses may contain uncertain or incorrect findings and should be checked against your listening and other sources.
The next instruments
The Song Coach family is growing.
We are adapting the Bass Coach learning experience for other instruments. The shared idea is simple: start with a song you love, learn a playable section, and let the next step be clear. Each new coach needs instrument-specific teaching, not just a different picture on the screen.
Guitar Coach: Put the chords, riffs, and strums together.
Learn approachable chord changes, familiar riffs, and rhythm patterns one section at a time. We are designing Guitar Coach to teach the motions and musical choices that belong to the guitar.
Ukulele Coach: Find the rhythm of a song you love.
Build songs from accessible ukulele chords, changes, and down-up strumming patterns. Ukulele Coach is planned as a dedicated adaptation of our guitar-learning approach.
Drum Coach: Learn the groove that drives the song.
Start with pulse and the core kick, snare, and hi-hat pattern. Then add coordination, accents, and short fills until the groove feels familiar and playable.
More ways to grow with music.
Keyboard Coach and Vocal Coach are possibilities for the future Song Coach family. We are also exploring Song Designer, Song Builder, and Song Explorer for people who want to plan original music, work with production assets, or discover musical connections. Those ideas will follow the evidence we learn from the first products.
One direction, different ways to use it.
The long-term vision is to let Song Genome explain the music while each instrument coach turns useful understanding into a lesson designed for that instrument. We are developing these experiences as separate products, testing them individually, and planning shared intelligence where it makes the learning better.
Song Genome owns song analysis. Each coach owns the teaching journey.
Try what is ready. Follow what is next.
Our first priority is to put useful experiences in musicians’ hands and improve them through testing. We plan to introduce free entry points and paid subscriptions as the tools are ready for wider use. Available features, usage limits, and prices will be shown clearly before anyone purchases.
